To Know and Be Known... Is there anything more important in our relationships than to really “know” someone and to truly “be known”? Sometimes if I haven’t done a task, and I have to be reminded multiple times, I will typically respond … “Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. I know.”

I’m sure you’ve heard the anecdote about the lawyer cross-examining a witness, saying "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" There's no good answer for that.

How do I see Jesus? How do you see Jesus? Last week I wrote about His voice. But how do I see or recognize the Son of God? The book of Revelation has a lot of imagery. Some of it is likely symbolic. But that doesn’t mean that many things are not literal.

Do you ever wonder if you’re really hearing from God or if you’re missing something important?  I can imagine that John had some questions.

I have been noodling this verse around my brain for a while now, and I don’t yet know if I have a complete understanding. But it has made me stop and consider what it means, and how it changes my perspective...

What’s more important… my actions or my reactions? What do I do, or what do I say, when someone treats me badly? Or more so, when someone treats my family or friends badly?
